A Life that Wins Book
The book, A Life that Wins, is the companion book to the entire Reach the City campaign. Each week’s reading follows the Sunday morning sermon and contains fill in the blank outlines for each week’s message. The book also serves as the participant guide for the small group series and contains fill in the blank outlines for the weekly sessions.
The premise of A Life that Wins is the central truth behind Reach the City; a winning life will win others and an intentional life is an influential life. The book empowers believers to make what author, Mike Holt, calls a hinge decision in one of six key areas of life. It then provides a weekly journey through the lives of six Biblical stories; each of which exemplify of different principle of a winning life. Each day’s reading provides believers with a unique combination of compelling insight, practical application, and inspirational reminders to reach a friend for Christ.
A single copy of the book is $15. Pastors may also order bundles of 10 books for $100-only $10 each! Churches typically order enough books for 40% of the adult congregation and 20% of the youth ministry. Most churches purchase these books up front and then sell them for $10 each to recoup the cost.
